Care and maintenance of equipment

Luxury furniture and advanced salon equipment is a strategic investment in the image of your business. To ensure your Premium Salon equipment retains its impeccable appearance, functionality and shine for years to come, we've put together a short guide to its proper care.

All upholstery requires regular care – proper maintenance will significantly extend the product’s lifespan. Avoid extreme temperatures. Severe frost can cause the vinyl to crack, whilst intense heat can cause it to stretch permanently. Do not expose the products to direct sunlight for prolonged periods.

Cleaning instructions:

Clean regularly to remove body oils, which cause the material to harden.

  • Wipe with a clean, colourfast cloth slightly dampened with mild, alkali-free soap and lukewarm water. Do not soak excessively.
  • Remove any traces of the cleaning product by wiping with fresh water and a clean cloth.
  • Wipe dry with a soft, clean cloth.
  • Stubborn dirt may need to be gently scrubbed with a soft brush.

Do not use:

  • solvent-based or abrasive cleaning products
  • neither hot nor boiling water
  • hydrocarbons, including alcohol
  • acetone
  • furniture polishing products
  • bleaching agents (e.g. chlorine)
  • concentrated detergents
  • abrasive powders or cleaning pastes
  • steel wire mesh
  • silicone- or petroleum-based products

It is recommended that all components and fastenings be checked regularly to ensure that the seat is structurally sound and functioning correctly.

Removing stubborn stains – such as those caused by professional hair dyes or bleaching agents – requires immediate action.

Hair dyes and bleaches react with any surface in the same way as they do with hair. If the dye has had time to set and has penetrated the fabric, it may be impossible to remove.

Treat all stains immediately, in accordance with our cleaning instructions.

Applies to: bases for lounge chairs, metal trolleys and accessories, and armrests.

  • Wipe off dust regularly with a dry, soft cloth.
  • Wipe the surfaces with a clean cloth dampened with mild soap and lukewarm water.
  • All-purpose spray cleaners can be used for everyday cleaning.
  • For stubborn stains or built-up dirt, you can use a non-abrasive cleaning cream with a soft cloth – use sparingly.
  • Remove any traces of the cleaning product by wiping with fresh water and a clean cloth.
  • Dry it thoroughly with a soft, clean cloth – this helps to preserve the finish and prevent water marks.
  • Fingerprints and light smudges can be gently polished away with a microfibre cloth.

Do not use:

  • bleaching agents
  • abrasive powders or steel wool
  • rough scouring sponges
  • solvent-based or abrasive cleaning products
  • acetone or petroleum-based products
  • neither hot nor boiling water

It is recommended that all components and fittings be inspected regularly to ensure that the product is structurally sound and functioning correctly.

Cleaning glass panes / mirrors:

  • Spray the entire surface of the mirror with a standard glass cleaner.
  • Avoid soaking it for too long – this will speed up the process.
  • To avoid streaks, use a microfibre cloth and wipe the mirror in a zigzag motion.
  • Continue wiping until the surface is completely dry.

Cleaning the worktop / frame:

  • To avoid scratches, wipe with a soft cloth dampened with warm soapy water or a standard household cleaner.
  • Wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth (do not use abrasive materials or the products listed below).

Do not use:

  • hydrocarbons, including alcohol
  • acetone (unless the product is labelled as acetone-resistant, e.g. manicure tables)
  • furniture polishing products
  • bleaching agents
  • steel wire mesh
  • solvent-based or abrasive cleaning products

Instructions for cleaning Comfortel metal and plastic surfaces:

  • Dust it off or wipe it with a dry cloth.
  • Dampen a clean, colourfast cloth with mild, alkali-free soap and lukewarm water, then wipe down each surface. Do not soak excessively.
  • For everyday cleaning, you can use all-purpose cleaning sprays (e.g. Spray & Wipe).
  • For stubborn stains, you can use a non-abrasive cleaning cream with a soft cloth – use sparingly.
  • Remove any traces of the cleaning product by wiping with fresh water and a clean cloth.
  • Wipe dry with a soft, clean cloth.
  • Stubborn dirt may need to be gently scrubbed with a soft brush.

Cleaning:

  • To avoid scratches, wipe with a damp (never wet) cloth.
  • After cleaning, dry the surfaces thoroughly.
  • Both wood and veneer can be damaged by moisture – if you spill any liquids, wipe them up immediately.
  • When removing stains, proceed with care – use mild soap and warm water. Do not use abrasive cloths or the products listed below.

Sun protection:
These materials are sensitive to light. We recommend that you do not leave any objects on surfaces exposed to sunlight for the first 6–8 weeks. This will prevent marks and discolouration from occurring should the furniture lighten in the sun.
