Care and maintenance of equipment
Luxury furniture and advanced salon equipment is a strategic investment in the image of your business. To ensure your Premium Salon equipment retains its impeccable appearance, functionality and shine for years to come, we've put together a short guide to its proper care.
Premium eco-leather upholstery Every upholstery needs proper and regular care - good maintenance will help to drastically extend the life of your seats and car wash. We recommend wiping the surface daily with a soft, slightly damp cloth and mild soap. Definitely avoid aggressive alcohol-based or solvent-based detergents, which can dry out the material and cause premature cracking.
Stains from hair dye or bleach In a dynamic salon environment, stains from hairdressing chemicals are inevitable, but reaction time is key. For tough stains such as professional hair dye or bleach, it is recommended to wipe the product off the surface immediately. Use only dedicated, mild hairdressing upholstery wipes for cleaning. Never scrub the fabric with sharp sponges as this will damage the protective barrier of the eco leather.
Metal surfaces, chrome-plated and powder-coated This applies in particular to lounge chair bases (hydraulic pumps) and metal armrests. The cleaning instructions are simple: wipe them with a soft, damp microfibre cloth on a regular basis, and be sure to wipe them dry to avoid tarnishing and water stains. Avoid using any abrasive polishes or sharp brushes, which can permanently scratch the elegant finish.
Lounge mirrors and glass elements Clear and sparkling mirrors are the absolute showpiece of any salon. Spray the surface of the mirror with a high-quality, streak-free glass cleaner and wipe with a soft paper towel or smooth microfiber. Be careful not to let the liquid run over the edges of the mirror - if moisture gets into the LED profiles or metal frames, it can damage the electronics or corrode over time.
Lounge trolleys and helpers A clean helper is proof of the stylist's professionalism. To clean the metal or plastic surfaces of our trolleys, first vacuum them or wipe them clean of dust and cut hairs with a dry cloth. Then wash them with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Also remember to check the wheels regularly - although we offer Hair Repellent Wheels, preventive removal of dirt from the axles will guarantee perfectly smooth and quiet running.
Wood, melamine, glossy lacquered and veneered furniture This category includes our luxury reception desks, display racks and cabinets. To effectively avoid microscratching the coating, always wipe your furniture with a soft, damp cloth (never buff it dry with a rough cloth). If necessary, use only mild wood or lacquer care products. Absolutely avoid placing hot tools (e.g. straighteners) on them without a protective mat and be careful of chemical spills.
